Let us tell you that the construction of this statue started in 2014, about eight years ago. It has been prepared in China. After construction it was shipped to India. Architecture of Statue of Equality (Ramanuja)

The sculpture of Unit of Equality is made on a frame covered with Panchdhatu sheet (combination of five metals). This five metal sheet is a mixture of gold, silver, copper, brass and titanium.

The idol is built on a three-storied building called Bhadra Vedi. At the top of this building is a lotus 27 feet high, which is carried by 36 elephants. The idol is seated on this lotus shaped platform Padma Peetham.

The imposing building of the 54 ft high Bhadra Vedi houses a museum, library and educational exhibition showcasing the works of Sri Ramanujacharya. It also has a meditation hall, which houses a 54-inch high idol of Ramanuja made of 120 kg gold.

A miniature replica of Sri Ramanujacharya’s 108 Divya Desams (mini sculpture shrines) has been built around this idol. These models are made of stone, with filled features.
