With the aim of raising awareness about butterflies, the Delhi government has opened a butterfly park for the public at the Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary. There are about 60 varieties of native trees in the park. Apart from this, nectar plants of more than 30 varieties are also kept in the park. So far, more than 60 species of butterflies have been recorded in the park. Spread over a magnificent area of 2.5 acres, this park has been created with an aim to bring back some balance in nature.
